The Twin Cities Area Independent Percussion Ensemble (TCAI) was created in 2006 with the concept of providing it’s members the opportunity to participate in a NATIONAL LEVEL/CALIBER, Winter Drumline program in the upper Midwest.

Many potential members may have, or still do participate in the marching arts through other venues such as a High School or a Drum and Bugle Corps, but have little to no outlet to participate in this type and level of the activity during the winter.

TCAI was created as an outlet for those members that wish to further their educational experiences through this “next level” winter percussion program.

The Twin Cities Area Independent Percussion Ensemble is Minnesota’s ONLY,  independent, WGI affiliated, Winter Drumline organization.
